The Trent and Mersey Canal runs for 93 miles between Preston Brook and Derwent Mouth. The canal includes some famous waterways landmarks such as the Harecastle Tunnel and the Anderton Boat Lift. Opened in 1777, the Trent and Mersey Canal includes 76 locks and forms part of the popular Four Counties cruising ring.
